Wholesalers: How Many Assets Do You Own?

How many times have I felt stuck?

Where I can quite move my business forward…

Where I am not sure if I should move it forward…

Maybe it was a seller that threw me off my grove?

Maybe it was the lack of sleep from one of my 5 kids waking up in the middle of the night.

I am not sure but there’s one thing I did months ago: make sure that no matter how I feel my business will move forward…

I built an asset…

That asset runs without me every single day…I need to make sure I have the raw ingredients ready, which willingly converts that into progress for me every day.

This asset runs on….money!

I know some of you might read that and say well I don’t have much of that for a machine to be eating.

Here’s the best part it doesn’t have to be your money. I use a mixture of my money and a partner’s money.

That partner gets an ROI and I also get an ROI.

Each month that asset takes my money and multiples it by 10x or more sometimes!

As long as I keep funding….that asset will continue to produce.

The funny thing about assets is I used to think the only assets were houses.

I think I read too much Rich Dad Poor Dad!

Turns out anything that gives you an ROI or ROT (return on time) is an asset.

My asset is…” Google Search Ads”.

They hijack the search results showing my ad to highly motivated sellers before they get into the ‘organic’ results people pay tens of thousands of dollars to rank for.

This asset allows me to find deals like the one we found in Texas today.

• Purchase Price: $105k

• After Repair Value: $225k

This asset gave me $120k of potential spread that I can deploy however I see fit. (probably wholesale for $20k)

It took a few phone calls and a docusign. The deal was done in under 1 hr.

No matter how stuck I feel I built assets that don’t allow me to fail. I secured connections that allowed me to fund that asset.
